After starting up my new build everything seemed to be working smoothly until I played games for a long time. After playing GTAV or other games on Steam for over 30 minutes, it freezes up and will not allow any input. I am normally running Firefox with one music tab, and the Steam game.

I cannot open task manager or change caps lock led, so I have to hard reset every time. Also I have not over clocked any components yet due to this issue.

Using Aida64 stress test the highest temps on the CPU are 65, and the GPU is 81.

Yes it still freezes without SLI enabled.

You will have to run some monitoring software in the background to get a better picture of what might be going wrong.

Try uninstalling any bulk programs and disconnect any unnecessary peripherals like printers , webcams etc.

What would a bulk program entail? I currently have just the essentials; Steam, Firefox, some benchmarking programs, and 360 Security. Also, I only have one monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected.

Software from some hardware manufacturers, like Razr, Corsair, etc. I'm not knocking any of them but try to make your system as lightweight as possible
