Fiio E10 as main audio source?

joppetie
Go to solution Solved by MayflowerElectronics,

E10 is a combo amp/DAC unit. The e09k is just an amp.

The e09k/e17 dock combo is way to expensive for what it delivers.

I built a cmoy using an LM 082, it didn't sound bad at all, I built it to drive headphones on stage for a drummer. Did the job very well. However I wouldn't charge $100 bucks for it, but it would certainly be worth at least $25 I reckon.

You pay $99 for a $50 case and a $10 amp.

What are you bumping for? Don't do that.

I'm sorry, I thought that that's normal here after a couple of days of no posts.

I can normally be found on Teksyndicate.com, where this is normal.

I was hoping some more people would see this topic, so I could get some more insight into audio equipment.

Won't happen again.

Yeah, I saw that website too, but it's €89,- there, which is about 75 GBP. So it's far more expensive than on Amazon.co.uk

If you look at Ebay.nl, they sell them for €69,95 + €5,50 for shipping from Germany. Maybe something to look into. I am considering getting it myself.

What's the difference between the E10 and the E09K apart from the E17 dock?

But I did it more for other people's insight into the topic.

Keep the conversion in mind and the shipping costs are more.

There is the conversion yes, but I should still be cheaper, since Amazon doesn't charge for the shipping. Don't ask me why not.
