Look if your can find a Seasonic or even a Super Flower near your house. They tend to be both cheaper and better than Corsair's.

IS this psu any good for upgrade to gaming?

good quality?

coz i cant find any evga psu near my house

Yes. It's basically the same CWT platform as the RM650x I had suggested to you, but offer a higher quality FDB fan and benefits from Corsair Link. Also, note that Corsair updated their warranty period to 10 years (including those who bought it when it was 7 years)

y is that not spinning while in the game??

It's a semi-passive power supply. At lower loads, the fan will not spin up - allowing it to be quieter than a completely active fan controlled PSU. When you increase the load thus making it produce more heat, it will spin to cool it down.

Since his system power draw is under 300wDC during gaming load, he likely hasn't put a high enough load on it for the fan to kick in.

The Corsair RMi or RMx both have a longer warranty than the SuperFlower Leadex range. Also Seasonic tend to be more expensive when you get to their high end units.

The RMi is easily on par with a Leadex or Seasonic X.

Yeeeeeeeeesssssss thank you. Tons of people of been hitting on corsair for making low quality components. The only low-ish PSU line they make is the CX. Even then those are tons better than some PSU you buy off of craigslist

You're gonna get a lot of hell from people on this forum for pairing a Titan X with a CX750 -__- probably one of the worst choices you could have put in there when a 650W EVGA GQ costs less money and is better...

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Any Titan is a bad pairing for a CX750 regardless as the CX750 fails pretty much any VREG test you throw at it while having low temperature tolerance, the big reason why it's a bad pairing.

That's like someone driving a Ford Pinto saying "Well I haven't been rear-ended and my car hasn't exploded as a result so that means my car is fine for now" - it really doesn't mean it's fine for now. It's fine until it suddenly doesn't work which you can't predict, but you can prevent by getting rid of it entirely.

I'll be replacing it anyways since I'm planning on getting a 980ti or a second titan if I can find another one for a relatively cheaper price

Are you 12...? Simply because someone is suggesting you don't sacrifice your PSU and GPU and you're all intolerant and defensive because you can't handle the idea that you made a bad decision is extremely immature.

Yes but it was my plan since the cxm was made to get me to my other higher end cards and possibly SLI with them. The corsair CXM series isn't a bad psu but not a great one either. I wasn't saying that its the best on the market but it does its job. The only reason I'm replacing it is to get a higher wattage psu.

You are almost forcing me into replacing it. I don't make decisions based off of random people telling me its a bad choice. You are the immature one for not being able to accept that people don't want to take your advice. This could have been avoided by saying there are better psu's on the market than the one I have and I would have said yes and explained myself and you can say okay its your opinion and ended it there.

Definitely don't SLI them but I think you got that by now. You never said it wasn't a good PSU though, you said it was fine to be running it with a Titan.

I'm not forcing you by any means. I can't control what you do and frankly that's inhumane and you should be allowed to do whatever you want. I get that to you I'm a random guy who wants you to spend the money on a new PSU but what you've done is tell me "Nah, I'm OK and you're wrong. Oh, but I will replace the PSU eventually" which is contradictory and... not ignorant, not the word I'm looking for, but you could have explained you'll eventually replace it and be done rather than trying to justify your purchase.

Anyways, the EVGA GQ is usually found for around 70 USD and will work awesome for one card, 850W GS/G2/GQ/B2 will work well for two.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
