I'd say mac because I would be tempted to play games on my laptop but if you can control yourself then an windows ultrabook will do you wonders.

You could always get a mac book air or one of those 2 in 1 touch screen laptops.

 the uni im going to uses airdrop for almost anything so ive got a mbp for that. if that would not be the case id use a nice custom clevo instead.

Well, considering having a mac may be useful in some of your CS classes to give you a more rounded experience with different OS, get that.

as much as I dislike apple, macbooks are amazing for a student. if the battery dies or crashes..(most of the time) you'll be able to return to where you left off. thats probably the biggest advantage apple has over windows.

 

then again..google docs solves that issue. . .

For computer science? PC with a dual boot of your favorite distribution of Linux.

Get a Blade Stealth + less expensive desktop and use Onedrive, Mediafire, Razer cloud, or some home server to share files.

You'll regret a Mac pretty soon.
