Overclocking

Hi

I was wondering if the overclock worked. I clocked it at 3.5 ghz. I am concerned that is still says that the core frequency is still 3.2 ghz. Did it work? I have the Intel G3258 CPU and the AsRock Extreme 3 motherboard. Here is a picture

If the OC applied it should be showing 3.5 instead of 3.2 down in the bottom.

hmm, every time I open the tab my computer show blue, black, and white lines and quickly disappears.

so for a 3.2ghz G3258 dual core chip should I put the CPU voltage at 1.300V for  4.0-4.2 ghz? Also when I finish the overclock and find out it is stable, can I switch it to adaptive mode or should I stick with override mode at 1.300V?
