Hello guys and girls,

I'm looking for suggestions on wireless headphones. Rather than being suggested one headphone per person I would like to see an array of headphones that are great for their price (and also hit my criteria) in the range of £80 to £200. For those that don't live in the UK, if you are going to include value-for-money or price please check UK stores for prices since it will give prices more accurate to what I would be spending but don't feel obliged to. For those that want a single price to work on then £120 is a good start.

So here is the criteria:

  1. The headphones are wireless. This is the most important factor on my list since I have a habit of forgetting that the (wired) headphones/headsets are on my head and so sometimes when I stand up I accidentally yank the headphones out of the audio jack, the headphones come flying off my head or break the cable like I did with my last headset. Given that this the most important criterion I will be least likely to go with wired headphones.
  2. The headphones are of good build quality i.e. Least likely to be damaged out of the box, structure of the headphones is strong and the electronics are unlikely to break. This probably somewhere high on everyone's good headphones list but my clumsiness comes in more forms than forgetfulness.
  3. The headphones are of reasonable sound quality (at least). I have a higher tolerance to lesser sound quality then some but I cannot hack obnoxious sound quality like loud hissing - I guess this is basically most people.
  4. The headphones do not have fiddly charging. I noticed some wireless headphones where you had to take of both ear cups off to place in rechargeable batteries that you had to charge using third-party battery chargers... Not ideal. What would be ideal is a charging dock where placing your headphone on it isn't like docking two spacecrafts in orbit. Also short charging times would be nice but i can live with longer charging times (just need to make sure that when I'm not using the headphones that I stick them straight onto charge).
  5. The headphones are closed and/or, more importantly, do not have much sound leak. I live with other people that are not much into hearing muffled noise leaking from my headphones even if it is music they like.

Many thanks for reading post and many more for replying,

Well here are a couple of options I was able to find on amazon. They are both kind of expensive but will probably perform well.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-MDR-1ABT-Resolution-Bluetooth-Headphones/dp/B00U5WV25U/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics-accessories&ie=UTF8&qid=1459248570&sr=1-2

Both should match your criteria well although I'm not totally sure about the charging. These two might be worth a try anyways and if you can go to a local store to try them then that's good. I have listened to some wired version of the Sony's and found them very good sounding. Urbanites I have not listened to, but have heard that they are decent although maybe a bit bass heavy.

Hope this helped :)
