Explosives in my backyard

Go to solution Solved by Real_PhillBert,

I dont know about their use, but anything over 4oz would be a Destructive Device, which is regulated by the BATFE under the NFA. Making one without the BATFE approval, is extremely illegal.

Firecrackers are totally illegal in the UK, some countries don't like them either.

That is ridiculous, so glad I live in Georgia. Fireworks and firecrackers are seen as a fun toys here. People don't have a rod up their ass when it comes to just messing around and having fun on your own property unlike California. In Cali and other very liberal states laws are so strict on what you can do and how you can do it. Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky... etc are so, "chill" when it comes to things like that.

It was after people started setting off hundreds and a few children got their faces blasted off that they got banned...

It's called common sense and self responsibility (something a lot of people sadly lack in, always someone else's fault and never your own). No one forced the kids to buy them and set them off in their own face. Seriously who does that? Banning things because someone did something stupid with them is ridiculous. If someone voluntarily buys something, mishandles it, and injures themselves, then that is that persons problem. Just because of them doesn't mean a responsible person shouldn't be able to use them.
