PLEASE READ TILL AT LEAST THE END ON THE WARNING STATEMENT

One who likes sleep more than me may cry on how little of it i have gotten just trying to mod this game. I finally was getting it working fine until i found a bad spot in the game.

ALL ON NMM (Nexus Mod Manager)

WARNING: Following contains a bunch of reading but only because i want to help you help me as much as possible. For those who do not want to read much, simply read the underlined text.

(keep in mind, this will lower your understanding of the situation and will thus probably lower the possibility of you to fully help).

I am going to explain the problem, then tell you what ive tried to fix it, and then a little bit of backround or location, current mods in that area/ maybe some possible reasons that need confirming.

Explanation: So i was walking on the outskirts of Whiterun (see section three on what mods i have in affect in this area) and i randomly freeze and have to do a whole restart. After doing so, i loaded the game and wanted to see if it was a bad spot, and my assumption was correct. Third times the charm unless you are playing modded Skyrim because this spot was not some random glitch. I uninstall one of the mods that was affecting the distant area and now that little spot has increased to a random CTD in the area. At this point, ive tried a bunch of things (see section two for things ive tried to solve this with) and only have one more if not a couple more things to try and solve this with. If anyone knows what this problem can be, or need more explanation/ re-wording the situation, please leave a comment. (for TLDR ->) A spot/ Area of the game now freezes or CTD's which does contain a mod or so in the area and surrounding areas.

Attempts To Fix: Ive tried to use LOOT to find any incompatibilities or see if there was an error in my load order, which there was not. I installed TES5EDIT to clean up my master files. I went in my skyrim.ini and tried to use the papyrus logs to see if a certain mod or file was causing the problem, however, after setting the files to the right settings, the papyrus logs did not appear. I tried installing Skyrim Performance Monitor to see if my RAM or other specs were capping out or having struggles which it did not seem to be.

Location And Current Mods IN THE AREA: The area i am in is around (the spot i mentioned in the last section was directly across the road from this place) the meadery outside whiterun (below whiterun on the map) to where there are two bridges (east). The only mods i can think that would mainly be affecting the area are People Of Skyrim Ultimate, Expanded Towns And Cities, as well as te 2k re-texture. If you would like, i can copy and paste my load order which would contain my plugins (i dont quite know how to copy and paste my actual mod list).

Thank You for reading and Sorry for all the text, i only do it so i can give you the most help i can.

Could you please show us the load order? Also are you using Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organiser? Because although I do get occasional issues while using MO, they aren't as bad as when I used NMM, and it keeps the game files clean.

Ok. With that many mods it is quite difficult to say outright which specific mod is at fault. It could be just 1 causing conflicts, or multiple. What I recommend you do (and what I've had to do for all 119 mods that I'm using in Skyrim ATM) is install them 1 at a time, starting with the mods you want working properly the most. Listing your computers specs might help as well just in case its not the mods themselves at fault.

Any chance that its an issue with skyfalls?  There are a few waterfalls on the way to riverwood from whiterun.  Remember that neighboring cells also load and may be the source of the CTD.

My guess would be there is a conflict in neighboring cells between Skyfalls and fallen tree bridges.
