Hi everyone.

I'm planning a little update for my pc in the next few weeks. It's not that I really really need it, my current one works more or less satisfactorily but I want to do it. It's always fun upgrading.:D

The budget is around 400 Euros (523 USD - 536 CAD). The hardware will be bought from my local pc stores, I can't do newegg for example.

I'm not a hardcore gamer and overclocker, though I do enjoy the occasional game of Far Cry 3 or Mass Effect or Hitman Absolution.

My current pc specs are these

I plan on updating motherboard, cpu and graphics card. This is what I've come up with

So, what do you guys think? Is it good, do you have any other suggestions? Also, is my power supply good enough for this upgrade?

Power supply is enough for any single GPU build (Titan excepted of course). The 650 Ti is by no means a graphics powerhouse but it will be a fairly respectable upgrade to the 5770. The more money you can put into the graphics, the better though.

^^ My thoughts as well - if going i3 and not doing raid or overclocking, go for a lower end chipset which will save you a bit of cash - put that into GPU or get yourself a SSD drive for boot.

Why are you getting a Z77 motherboard with an i3? Get something like a B75 board then you could opt out for a more powerful GPU' date=' a 7850-7870.[/quote']

I already have an 830 ssd for boot, so I'm good in that respect.

As far as the motherboard is concerned, you're right about getting a B75 instead. I will probably end up going that way.

And with the extra money I could go for a 7850, the 7870 still seems to be out of reach.

Thanks for the advice so far guys, keep it coming if you have any more comments.
