ReInstall Windows
It only affects the drive partition you select.
So for example,
If you 2 HDDs, where the first HDD has 2 partition: C:\ (Windows), D:\ (Everything else including your personal files (Documents, Videos, Music, etc, folders)
And the second HDD, is your backup drive, say. And you decide to re-install Windows. You just need to pick the first drive, first partition (which is your C:\, and can id it by its size) in the Windows 10 setup screen, and hit format and hit the next button, Than only C:\ will be formatted, and Windows will be installed there, as that is the one you selected,
If you don't format, and it is the partition where you had Windows before: Windows 10 will take everything it sees, moves it to a new folder called: Windows.old, and install Windows 10, assuming you have sufficient space to do this. Else it will tell you need to make room, so, in other words format (or quick the setup, boot back to your current Windows, and delete or move manually your stuff).
