Hi there,

I recently built my first own PC, this one: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/DdyfrH

Now I wanted to do a CPU stress test on my Xeon E3-1231v3, to see how hot it would become, but I saw something strange.

After running Aida64 for about 10 minutes, the hottest the CPU had been was 52C, and it was going around 50C.

I don't have a very special cooler, a budget Cryorig H7, so I was expecting some high temps but I got something very different.

Now I don't know if I should be happy or be worried, everything else on the PC is smooth like butter.

What should I do?

thats about right. nothing to worry about. aida64 doesnt get hard on your cpu compared to other stresstests. and your ambient temp is quite low, its fine.

nothing tbh.

As long as your cpu maxes out during aida64 and your performance is also normal (maybe try cinebench) you are fine, i can give you a score from my xeon if that helps you
