Help with weird beeping glitch/virus (?) after leaving PC idle

Fixed - uninstalling mouse drivers seems to have done the trick.

Hi everyone,

Over the past day and a bit, I've been having this weird thing happen to my PC - whenever I leave it idle for over say, 25 minutes or so, when I come back to it and try to move the mouse, or click on something, it won't let me, and it just makes a constant beeping noise (and by constant, I don't mean a solid tone, I mean a short  beep repeating...). The only way to stop it I've found is to reboot the PC... Does anyone know how to fix this? Is this to do with something I may have accidentally turned on, or is it a virus or a glitch? Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

Run MalwareBytes and reset your CMOS.
