Hey guys I'm building a new computer and the only thing I might be transferring is my storage. But as of today I don't know if I'll spend an extra 100$ or stay with what I have. The main reason is that today my drive processing was at 100%. Things were also very slow like usual. I reset windows but it was still the same thing. I'm thinking I have some kind of virus and if so I would like to get new storage and OS (Right now I have that free version of windows 10). But is this just a Windows 10 bug or should I really be thinking about getting a new OS and Storage?

An SSD would help if you don't already have one

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

What's the difference between SSD and regular storage? And also I was wondering if I had a virus or if it was just Windows 10. Because if its some virus I'll end up getting a new storage and the new os. If it's just Windows 10 (which I'm guessing its not because its also making things very slow) then I'll probably just get a new OS.

SSDs are flash memory not hard disk as HDD, they offer higher priced but faster read/write speeds. The SSD would speed up read speed of the OS and program files, bu not if there is a bug or virus causing the issue. We don't know your specs nor the speeds you call slow so we can't diagnose anything. If you think its a virus run malwarebytes or ASC9. Then back up your data and install win10 home or pro if a virus isn't removed.

An SSD is a Sold State Disk which means it has no moving parts, unlike an HDD, or a Hard Disk Drive, which uses spinning 'disks' to store data.

If you suspect you have a virus, scan you computer with Avast! Antivirus and Malwarebytes

Right but I just reset everything I factory reset my Computer. Which is why I was thinking something is wrong with my HDD and or OS

Reinstall the OS, not factory reset, DBaN and boot from a new ISO

Download the windows 10 iso, you can get them eveywher but ireccomend the 8 in 1 from getintopc.com

Then use Rufus to make a bootable usb drive(8gb) from the iso OR make a bootable CD(google the how tos). Plug it in to the pc, turn it on, f12 or f2 into the BIOS and change the boot order so that it boots to the usb drive and follow the install process.
