So basically I have around 400-500$ to spend on a monitor, one that has gotten my attention is a BenQ XL2720Z but It has some drawbacks I guess, it has a tm panel and it doesn't have gsnyc. Which one is the best at this price range? I will do a lot of gaming and video editing, I would love a IPS panel with 144 hz that has gsnyc, which monitors would get the closest to those specs?

The only IPS 144Hz panels are 2560x1440p and are sitting at around 700$.

So I would recommend a non-G-sync 1440p, 144Hz, IPS display like the ASUS MG279Q: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236466&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
If you ever switch to AMD, you get at least Free-Sync.
