I want to build a new rig that offers the best responsetime and lowest input/output latency.

Im really into csgo competitive on 1080p/144hz in high settings. Other more demanding games could/should be set on medium settings.

On LTT : YT they mentioned gtx950 offers a more fast response time for moba games. How does this effect on csgo (fps). And is this function available on other cards?

In this build i would love to achieve the fastest response time possible. Includes mouse, monitor144hz, keyboard, entire pc,( internetconnection?.)

If anyone has some decent knowledge to help me out here i would really appreciate it. Im wondering with this idea for too long.

The build shouldnt cost tooooo much too.

What's your budget?

You're going to want to go AMD, that reduced latency thing is really more of a gimmick, and they made it available on every Nvidia card through the drivers

And AMD because there's a 1080p 144hz Free-sync display for only $20 more than the last time I looked at normal 144hz 1080p displays

It's $350 for the G-sync equivalent

Yes, this won't cost too much. I also play CS:GO myself, and it's gonna be simple.

CPU: Intel Core Pentium G3258

GPU: nvidia GeForce GTX950

Motherboard: ASUS H81-M

RAM: Crucial Ballistix 8GB (4x2GB)

Storage: WD Blue 1TB

PSU:  XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Case: Optional

Notes: The CPU is pretty decent, but as you know (or not) CS:GO is mostly CPU independent. Don't worry; this CPU gives hella' power. It's overclockable too. It's not weak, overclockable, and has low price at 60 dollars. GPU is the average budget type, or if you want a bit cheaper you can have GTX660 with 110 FPS at max settings. This is quite cheap to build meanwhile being powerful. The 950 produces 140+ FPS at max settings.

Wouldn't be worth getting the dual core for 144hz gaming, even if it's pushing the average fps that high at times the minimum fps is going to be taking a hit rather than something like an i3.
