Is this legit?

Hey guys,

I was looking on ebay for After Effects cs6, and I saw this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adobe-After-Effects-CS6-/152021402173?hash=item23652e823d:g:ZjIAAOSwqYBWouMg

It's way cheaper than what other sellers are selling it for, but...

I sent him a message to see if this was the retail version, and he said "I got a couple of these from my friend. He didn't give it to me with a box or anything. All I know is that he does recieve updates from Adobe and customer service."

A weird message, but his seller ratings are good. Are these illegal or something?

Just start with one of the many open source versions, and when you're actually making money off it, use it to buy the better product.

This, this eBay seller is sketchy as hell and would not deal with him. I agree, I am assuming this guy torrent this software, burned to a CD, and wants to sell it for $250...

if its is expensive get After effects cs5 but its still in the mid 700$

If it's cheaper than retail price it probably is illigal

Got an Android, never going back to apple again (notice I spelled apple with a lowercase and Android with an uppercase)

Are you a student? My father is a professor so I use him as my "teacher" and lie to adobe that I am a student. I get all applications for $20 a month. I would say it is worth it. I use Photoshop, After Effects, and Premier Pro. I occasionally screw around on other apps too.

Oh man are they great when they don't crash. Though no professional uses them so if you want to do it as a job learn Maya, and NukeX. Don't worry they are like $5K a month.
