Here are some suggestions that may help you out:

1. Download CCleaner. It will scan your computer for unwanted files, and anything else that is just cluttering up your drive.

2. Go to the Control Panel --> Programs --> Uninstall a Program, and then search for things that you did not install. (I suggest looking things up before uninstalling, because you don't want to uninstall things like graphics drivers, audio drivers, etc.)
3. Scan your computer for malware or viruses. A good anti-malware software is Malwarebytes. It's free, works well, and is respected by techie's everywhere.
