Help me build my gaming pc

Hi, i would like you guys to help me and give me advices on how to build a computer with a start price of 3000 dollars (only for the inner part of the tower), the problem is that i have too many questions about the specs.

 
The computer is gonna be used for gaming, i want it to run latest games for today and future 3 years at least, i want it to run vr with no problems. I also was thinking about streaming on twitch and upload videos to youtube(just for fun) learning animation is a thing that i will be doing this year too.
 
Cpu: i want it to be a i7 but i dont know which version of it ( ive heard the 6700k is the beast for gaming but idk) i want to do overclocking 
 
Gpu: i want it to be a nvidia gpu idk which one , i was thinking about getting a titan x but there is again many models of it 
 
Motherboard: here is where i have no idea which one , i only know i want a mb capable of being upgraded In the future for gaming ( maybe for a second gpu or something) a mb compatible with the i7 and good for overclocking
 
Cooling: i was thinking a good cooling pack for a reasonable price 
 
 
 
You can suggest me the energy thing, and how much ram i would need for a good gamingpc ? and the box for it too please help me idk what to do.

Hexacore CPU for the streaming and animation. Titan Xs are now obsolete considering GTX 980Tis have equally same performance in gaming, if not better.

Note: If you are fine with the looks of the noctua d15, the cpu cooler @Zach TOm picked, it performs just as well as the Kraken X61 but is a lot, lot quieter. Just a heads up if you are fine with the looks.

When I upgrade my 212 evo I am either going d15 or d16 (if it is out by then). Noctua has won me with performance as good as top notch liquid coolers while remaining MUCH silenter.
