AMD APU Graphics Power

Go to solution Solved by Sakkura,

They are exactly the same shaders, texture units etc. that AMD uses in their dedicated graphics cards.

So, we all know about AMD's APUs and to be honest, they may fall behind Intel with CPU, but AMD's integrated graphics really shines. My question is, how exactly do these bloody things work? Are the GPU cores ACTUAL GPU cores or are they like partial cores thrown together? In a chip with R7 graphics, will there be actual cores similar to those found in an R7 graphics card?

It's like food for the soul, but it's a drink for the body.
