New PC Gamer, Planned Build

Hello,

 

I am looking to switch to PC gaming and below is the build I am planning. I have put this together with suggestions from some of the linus build guides as well as a little bit of my own research/things I like. Looking for any suggestions/advice before I purchase all of this and start building.

Motherboard: ASUS 970 PRO GAMING/AURA ATX DDR3 AM3 Motherboards

CPU: AMD FD8320FRHKBOX FX-8320 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2)

Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL

GPU: Gigabyte AMD R9 380 256 Bit GDDR5 4GB 2xDVI/HDMI/DP G1 Gaming Graphics Card GV-R938G1 GAMING-4GD

$1000 and US. Mainly gaming, but I might be using it for work later on. I'm a graphic designer, so I usually have at least 5-7 programs runnning.
