Big Problem, Please Help!

So pretty recently my PC has been doing some weird stuff. When idling like watching Netflix and stuff the screen goes black or grey and the audio chnages to a jackhammer with a constant sound. It only happens when I am not using it. A few times it says that Asus surge protection was activated. How can I fix this?

Does it recover after this action occurs? Or do you have to reboot your system?

 

I am not sure if the Asus surge protection stuff is relevant but if it is i would suggest getting a surge protector or (even better) a UPS for your system.

The only thing we have to fear is... Stupidity...
