Second Gaming Build Help (900-1000$ Budget)

Weezx

So i'm looking to build my second gaming PC as my old one is dead. Now i'm on a budget but the lower the better without hurting any performance. My Budget is around 900-1000$ i will be gaming on 1080p and i would like that it atleast can run for a few years without a gpu upgrade. Im open to semi overclocking it on air as i did a semi overclock on my first build without problems.

Parts i need:

CPU
Motherboard
GPU
Memory
PSU
CPU Cooler (Semi overclock was looking at an Cryorig H7 for this)
SSD
CASE

Thanks in advance Weezx

Ohh yeah sorry i forgot to mention that i salvaged my 2TB HDD + an Samsung 830 SSD 128Gb from old pc. Regarding your parts i been looking at mostly the same expect the Motherboard and Memory (been looking at Asus Z170-P + HyperX Fury Black 1x 8Gb 2666 Memory)

The part i'm having the hardest time about to pick is the GPU with the new generation comming out i dont know if i should be spending that much on a R9 390/GTX 970 now or just go with an 960 strix or 950 and upgrade once the new generation comes out. Now if the R930/GTX970 can skip the next gen completly i can see why that would be a good deal.

If you've really got the patience, I'd wait and use the Intel iGPU.

Usually AMD cards tend to age better than their NVIDIA counterparts so that's my choice for the R9 390. It can run ultra settings 1080p 60FPS for now and I don't see why it can't on lower settings when Navi and Volta release in 2018-ish.
