Okay I can kinda see that but the BIOS is inside the mobo and that is all you need to access so I thought that all you needed was the mobo

It makes sense by your logic too. But as I said, I experimented years ago, and things may be different from then. I'd put in a CPU, and see if that fixes it. We can both learn from this one

Well I'm not exactly the one who has to do it, I am trying to help my friend long distance I built his pc and he wanted to upgrade things went bad fast. Basically he has 2 CPUs, 2 mobos, 2 power supplies, and 2 graphics cards. One bad PSU and one bad mobo. Excpet the new one won't post but he said he will deal with it tomorrow. It's 12 here
