Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) Hey Everybody. I have been tasked by my dad to build a new family PC before I head back to uni. It needs to be capable of the basics so word, excel, PowerPoint with multi-tab browsing and spotify and all of this happening at the same time. It also needs to sate my brother's gaming habits. So these games include SMITE, CS:GO, TF2, Warframe and Garry's Mod. Ideally having these run at 60fps on low to medium setting. Also my parents want two monitors and a Blu-Ray player. I came up with this build below but I don't think it is any good. I have a budget of £600-800 and this has to include the cost of Windows and Office with come to 148.99. My parents want me to buy solely from Amazon. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/XPgxD3 Many thanks in advance Edited March 23, 2016 by Naith123
 Posted March 22, 2016 You might want to get larger PSU something like 500 if you want to add a GPU down the track. You can get windows/office key for cheaper off reddit (microsoftsoftwareswap) for around 50 dollars for both windows and office. From the money save for office/window you can get SSD and better PSU to add GPU down the track. Magical Pineapples
