best cheap cpu for division?

i have about £170 ($240) for a new cpu and motherboard to play division.

Current specs:

amd a8 7600

his radeon 7950 iceq boost

gigabyte f2a88xm-hd3 

8gb kingston hyperx ddr3 1600mhz 1x8gb

won't do at all, I would say just get a cheap z87 board and buy an i5 4460. But you may be able to buy an fx 4300 and a good amd 970 or 990fx board for the same price as your listed 240$

I've found Division is far more GPU bound than CPU. An i3 with a 7870 handles it far better than an FX 6300 with an R7 260, and they have about the same CPU utilization. My 4670k sits at about 45-50% usage while my 970 is pinned at 99%.

 

I'd save your money for a bit and just run it as best you can right now. Save up for a good Skylake or near-future Zen build.
