Looking for a new mouse

james12315

Hey Guys,

I am looking for a new mouse, as my old one isn't too great and it's a lil broken.

I am not really sure what makes a mouse "Good", I like the look of this: Rival 300

But I am not sure if it is good. Is this a good mouse for a palm grip? or do you suggest any other mouses?

My budget is around £50-60 British money.

Thanks in advance!

The Rival 300 is a very good option.

But can you give us your hand size? (Skip to 0:19 for instructions how to measure)

EDIT: Do you like a heavier mouse (100+g) or a lighter mouse (<100g)

The Zowie EC2-A is a really good mouse but it doesnt include any software, instead you have a button on the underside to cycle between a few preset DPIs.

Mionix Castor is getting a lot of praise recently so might be worth checking out.

Roccat Kone Pure has really nice build quality but i would recommend you pick up either the Pure Military or Pure Laser (the 3090 sensor in the Pure Optical spins out a lot when i was playing csgo but was fine for bf4). And if you decide to go with the laser you should pair it with a hard mousepad to avoid jitter.

And if you like a heavy mouse then maybe consider the Logitech G502 (has all the bells and whistles one could ever ask for).

I am thinking about getting the Roccat Kone Pure Laser, would you recommend any particular hard mouse mat? or are they all the same?

Thanks for all your help it is really useful.
