Thanks!

I love this monitor and would recommend it.. What are you using it for?  Gaming wise it does run the majority of games fine..  U will just Half to adjust fov for some not all.. Also during games loading screens or cinematic trailers such as story Lines it will flip to 16:9 ratio. A 970 will run this monitor without any problems..

This monitor has good black levels and decent response time..DSC_0004.thumb.JPG.70d3d007b05c9ea8673c0DSC_0036.thumb.JPG.64401fc1b30a05d40d5d9DSC_0039.thumb.JPG.2b5d934459f03b56a47cf

I have a similar monitor, a 29UB series, rather than the 29UM series but 21:9 is something I absolutely love, and LG knows what theyre doing.

Is the resolution of 2560 x1080 a big problem while running games?

My 980 and Titan X both handle the resolution well, and most if not all games support it decently enough - even with a PS4 hooked up to it. Although, ive found myself reducing my FOV down from 110+ to something closer to 80 when on 21:9 and generally put my mouse's DPI a bit lower.

Will a 970 or r9 390 be enough power for the resolution? Or should I go higher?
