Razer Blade or Alienware.

I'm planning on getting a gaming laptop, and was wondering if I should get the new blade, and get the core later, or if I should go with a cheap Alienware 15 and get the graphics amplifier all together at the same time. What do you guys think? I'm tempted to go with the Razer because I like the styling much more as opposed to the brick that is the 15 r2.

There are plenty of other laptops that have better on board GPUs that are thin and light etc

as it stands the razer external GPU option is better, however I personally find the core useless as it has no onboard GPU

Honestly I wouldn't get either of them and would get something less overpriced so you aren't paying for the name

as it stands the razer external GPU option is better, however I personally find the core useless as it has no onboard GPU

Yes the amp is limited in bandwidth and restricted to AW laptops, the razer core is much more future proof

 

if you dont need portability or a laptop, a desktop is WAY better value, 

 

and for the money of the blade you could get a 13" AW and a $1000 gaming desktop etc
