For the past few days, I've been experiencing random double clicking with the left and right click of my G502 and it's getting worse and worse especially while playing CS:GO or Dota 2. I first got it in November 2014, so the fact that it's Logitech and it has only been what, 16 months or so now, and already having this kind of problem is just ridiculous. I used to have the MX518 that lasted for a bit over than 4 years, several other standard Logitech notebook mouse both wired and wireless variants that lasted 2-3 years, so yeah I think it's reasonable to expect a high-end gaming mouse from Logitech such as the G502 to last for at least 3 years. Luckily it came with 3-year warranty so I'm gonna RMA it. I don't know if I can get a brand new replacement of the G502 or they're just gonna tinker with it and send it back to me, but I really really hope that I can get a replacement, maybe if I'm lucky I can get the spectrum :P.

Anyway, I'm just curious, do any of you guys experience the same double clicking problem or perhaps any other problems with your G502? And how long have you been using your G502?

That's quite odd.. I've only heard this happen within 6 months for the Razer Deathadder.

I haven't had that issue with my G502 Yet.

Its a contagious mouse disease called Omron syndrome

It affects many Logitech mice

You can find many purported fixes on youtube. Maybe one of them will work for you.

Alternatively if you are electronics savvy, can give it a switch transplant.

I haven't had any experience with switch transplant but I guess I can give it a try later.

Erm, if you still want to RMA, you better not transplant, as it would most likely void your warranty.

Yeah I'm perfectly aware of that. I'm not gonna do it straight away, I'm gonna consider doing it when the replacement or whatever Logitech decide to do with my G502 gets broken again in the future. Thx for the reminder though, I appreciate it.
