A couple Borderlands questions

On steam right now there is the borderlands 3 pack containing borderlands + all DLC, borderlands 2, and borderlands the presequel. I have already played through borderlands 1 and 2 however I want to do so again I just wish that borderlands 2 came in GOTY edition. My question is if I buy the GOTY edition of borderlands 2 seperately, and then buy the bundle, will the price of borderlands 2 be subtracted from the bundle? 

 

Also if I have the borderlands 2 DLC and my friend doesnt can he play the DLC if I host?

If you have the BL2 DLC and your friend doesn't, he will not be able to play the DLC. The files need to be present on both systems, and this includes loot found in the DLC that is 100% unique to it. If a friend doesn't have the respective DLC, the loot will be unusable to them to the point where they cannot even pick it up.

Unless it's specified that it will, I wouldn't bet on it at all.
