For some reason, when switching from vga output to hdmi, the position of the screen itself has been cut off.

Missing about half a cm from all four sides of space, and yes I need that volume of space.

Anyone have a solution to adjust it? The auto adjust option is grayed out and unselectable.

Maybe its a faulty HDMI cable?

open your menu, there should be an option to choose 1:1 ratio or full size or wide or something

Wasn't an option for that in my paticular screen, but i could manually adjust the general compression of the screen.

Losing about 2 mm of space at the sides, but its better than not being able to see my UI in zbrush.

does your TV/monitor come with remote by any chance?
im not sure if its a monitor or tv judging from google lol

and the remote have a button to display the option i mentioned earlier :I

Tv is overscanning, you can fix this using either Nvidia, AMD or Intel resolution settings

adjust desktop size and position -> TV -> Size -> enable desktop resizing

This was the solution I was using for now.

Well i can live with 5 or 10 pixel widths of wasted space.

mmhhh ok, try this then:

resize till you can see the white contour and all 4 borders, apply, turn off TV, turn on TV, you should be on a weird resolution (not 1080p for example), on either windows settings or nvidia control panel change resolution to the TV's resolution (1920x1080 for example if it's a 1080 panel)
