Thread moved to CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory.

oops sorry wasn't sure if it would go on the motherboard threads as it wasn't motherboard specific

There isn't a chipset called x99s. There is a mobo called it, which is made my asus. But only x99 exists.

My native language is C++

Ok I thought so was just looking at two boards one said X99s the other just said x99 and there was also an x99a what is the reason for the s if it isn't any different is it usually when it has usb 3.1 cause that seems to be the difference I have noticed.

Like I said before, there is only x99. Asus' model naming schema is confusing that way.

MSI do it as well they have their X99s Xpower. Only asking as I have to change my motherboard again because my Rampage V extreme keeps having this occational issue where it hangs on post and I have tried everything to fix it including updating bios but it hasn't fixed,

the annoying thing is if I completely power down and re-turn it on it posts fine.

It deals with components found on motherboards.
