testing for dead ram sticks.

Go to solution Solved by thekeemo,

you dont have to run memtest for 8 hours..

you RMA all the ram sticks if one is bad anyway

so i have narrowed down my blue screens and power cycling to my ram. i replaced it with another kit and my system seems to finally be stable. looks like when my motherboard died it also took out some ram.

anyway i was wondering if there is a quick way to test for which stick is having errors. i have 4 sticks and a mem diag tool test shows no errors and i really can't have memtest running for 8 hours per stick.

i know its my ram because no other component causes the variety of blue screens that i have been having and i have replaced every other component in my system except for my ram.

anyway a quick test so i can mark it for dead and get a new one would be great :).
