A noun clause is a clause (containing a subject and a verb) that can replace a noun.

The examples below show how they are used:

I don't know her. (not a noun clause)

I don't know who she is.

I don't know where she lives.

Couldn't you just have googled this? I mean it's seriously the first thing when you google it... I mean instead of taking up a forum spot and wasting other peoples time in what would take you 15 seconds to Google... It's not really a troubleshooting worthy topic.

Troubleshooting is for tech related things. This is not tech related - therefore it belongs in Off Topic.

I would have put this in off topic, but guys don't just tell him to google it. Maybe he has and doesn't understand what it says or something similar. I'm no good at English even though its my first language so sorry I cannot offer an explanation.

Typically you want to ask for help after you've attempted to do it yourself. Just googling noun clause gave me an extremely descriptive idea of what it was (hence what I posted). It's hard to try and help someone who doesn't even put an effort into helping themselves and just rely's on others to do it for them.

It's troubleshooting when it's tech related. Since this isn't at all, this topic is intended for off-topic.

My point was that maybe he doesn't understand the extremely descriptive idea. If English isn't a first or even second language it can be very difficult. Like I say I'm British and I wouldn't be able to explain to someone what a noun clause is even after reading the description. If he is trying to explain to someone in his family for example he might need another explanation then the one he has found online. I'm not saying this is at all the case and I'm not saying he has tried finding an explanation just giving the benefit of the doubt. And the second reply was a link to "let me google that" which is the exactly the opposite of what we want here. You offered explanation to try and help. My comment was more targeted uplift, not you.
