Runescape skill leveling

So i just got back into runescape and bought membership. (Runescape 3) But im kind of out of the loop. I want to farm XP for strength/attack/defense. All ive been doing was fighting shades in the security stronghold lol. But since im a member now whats the best way to get xp?

look tutorials on youtube. damn runescape was a nice game. ahhh.. the memories. the important thing is not to only make as much money and xp as you want. its having fun. have fun. thats what games are for.

thing is i did A LOT of the quests already  And seeing arbitrary numbers go higher IS fun to me lol

Depends what level you are. 

I occasionally hop back on to RS for a few weeks, then stop playing for like a year at a time. If you're high enough level, then killing blue dragons in the Taverly dungeon, collecting the hides and bones, teleporting to Taverly, banking, then going back is a good way to earn money and gain XP. It requires level 70 agility to actually be fast, though. There's a shortcut into the blue dragon bit that makes it much, much faster. Having a high (can't remember what level) dungeoneering skill helps, as you can go to the resource dungeon which is less crowded. With around 80-90 attack, strength and defence, I average about 1.5m an hour, though I'm not sure how much exp it is. 

If you don't have that agility level, it can be a massive pain to train up. It took me the most part of a year to get to 99 agility when I used to play a lot more. 

EDIT: Hellhounds are good exp in the Taverly dungeon if you're high enough level and don't care about money. Good for clue scrolls if you enjoy doing them and like the (small) chances of winning armour worth over 100m from them.

Hmmm.... I dont think my agility is that high sadly. Currently level 81 and was more of a not fighting person. But most of my skills are 60 - 70. I balanced them out kinda

I did all the free quests and I'm too poor to afford membership... I wanna play Runescape more often but I don't have any fun just grinding up skills. This makes me sad, I just wanna quest.

Yea different strokes for different folks. I love grinding and getting better gear even tho i will never PVP lol
