Thinking about buying 28'' BenQ 1080p monitor, I currently own a 23'' 1080p monitor from LG and was wondering how much does the scale up affects pixel ratio (Not talking about number I can work that out myself). If anyone has a 27'' or larger monitor that is 1080p - Please tell me how well it looks and if you regret your buy. (I mainly plan on doing games on the monitor all my other work - (Programming, photoshopping) goes on my MBP ).

- Thanks in advance.

I have dual Asus VN289QR monitors. When I am sitting at my desk the monitors are approximately 2 feet away from my face, and I find they are a comfortable size and that I don't really notice the pixels. If I lean forward then it is pretty easy to pick out individual pixels, so a big factor you will want to keep in mind is how close you sit to your monitor.

Lower pixel density is like dot pitch on CRT's.  Lower is always better,  But I have NO regrets about my 27" XL2720Z monitor.  The blur reduction has served me well and I don't see the pixels either.
