i know there is not alot of difference between 5.1 and 7.1 but between 2.1 or 2.2 and 7.1 (what i currently have) is a big difference wont it sound bad in comparisen to my A50 wich is a headset of astro for 300 euro (i picked it up for 200 euro)

Do not buy into "surround sound" for headsets, if you want "surround" you can use software like razer surround to simulate 360 degree sound

A good stereo sound stage will get you better directional sound anyway

if it HAS to be a headset, I can recommend the Beyerdynamics MMX300 - amazing headset and mic (I own it and reviewed it on in the members review section)

but i still recommend headphones + mod mic (or proper mic)

i have a Astro A50 right now but i need a new headset. I would like a headset with sound that sounds good and clear, a mic that works and sounds decent doesn't have to be perfect and it must be comfortable with and without glasses. If you guys could recommend some headsets for me that would be great, Thx :D

Budget?

id recommend getting some real headphones, like some DT990s and a proper microphone if you are serious about audio (or a modmic if its just for teamspeak)

budget doesn't matter if something is quality i am willing to spent 300 euros on a headset, because it is one of the most important thing of gaming, in my eyes.

There is no such thing as 5.1 or 7.1 in headphones, if anything it`ll make it worse

to game or not to game, that`s the question
