Hello Everyone,
Since a week, I'm facing this weird BSOD with error code: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.

This BSOD comes as soon I run any game on my PC.
For example, I start Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, by the time it reached menu screen I get BSOD.
Tried with Watch dogs, Counter-Strike 1.6 also.
same case.
This was before I bought ASUS STRIX GTX 970. which I still didn't assemble to PC.
So I thought the problem is with Intel HD Graphics 4600.
Then I tried assembling my GTX 970 and installed latest driver from Nvidia website.
Still the same problem persists.
There is no overclocking and I have tried resetting BIOS and Cleared CMOS.
My config is :

  • ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO motherboard,
  • INTEL Core i7 4790K,
  • GSKILL RIPJAWS-X 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz,
  • WD GREEN 1TB 5400rpm HDD
  • ZEBRONICS PLATINUM 600W
  • ASUS STRIX GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 just bought yesterday.

Kindly please help me with the BSOD error.

Voltages to the OC is wrong. I just had this same problem as I had bought a used motherboard. Also I bought new CMOS battery as that could be a factor as well.

Hello guys,

I've already mentioned, I'm not overclocking anything here. Both CPU and Ram working at stock clocks.

Ram is running at 1333Mhz, if i select xmp profile it will run at 1600Mhz. but in both case its same.

And the pc was working fine till last week.

i was playing CS:GO from last one year on INTEL HG GRAPHICS itself.

before i even ordered my new GPU i faced this error.

I took it to ASUS service centre and there the game run properly with INTEL HD GRAPHICS.

But in my house its not running and even in my frnd's house too.

So i've still kept my GPU in its box Bcoz i'm afraid it will be damaged.

No OC yet to my system. It was working fine and suddenly from last week I'm facing the problem.

unstable wall power or faulty gpu, both can cause that
