Hi guys,

I have a small laptop (Netbook) and would like to use it as a gps in my car, as it fits perfectly!

Especially for out-of-country traveling.

Back in the day we could use Route 66, which had most of the world covered.

I still have a USB GPS that connects to the laptop, which was working perfectly on Route 66.

Are there any programs that you guys use, which have the maps and don't require internet traffic for a laptop?

If there is a way I could also try to install some GPS OS or something it that was required.

Please add whatever you think is helpful here!

Thank you!xD
