Leaving laptop Plugged In

I use my laptop basically every day, but really don't take it from my desk so it stays plugged in 95% of the time. Would it be better to remove the battery while plugged in, or is leaving it plugged in with the battery perfectly okay and won't harm anything?

Batteries these days are smart and pretty durable. They will almost fully charge, drop a bit, charge almost full again, rinse and repeat. This means that there is almost no harm to your battery. Leaving it plugged in is FINE :P
