Do you not like the fan controller built into your motherboard?

yes it sucks and only supports 2 fans. that have pwm rest is dc ughh

How many fans are you planning on running?  Check the max amp/wattage rating for your motherboard's PWM headers.  You might be surprised how many fans you can safely run off of one PWM header let alone two.

5 2 for watercool and 3 for case.

Double check your fan's amperage and wattage draw.  Also make sure they are 4 pin PWM fans.   If they are 3 pin fans you'll need to see if your board supports DC mode and if so the motherboard's fan controller can control them.

Look up the safe output for your PWM headers and make sure that the combined total of all fans to be run on that single header don't exceed the headers capacity.

You'll need some PWM or 3 pin fan splitters.

I run 13 PWM fans and a water pump (control only) off of my motherboard not because I didn't want to buy a fan controller, but because  my motherboard's fan controller was a lot better than anything else I wanted to use.
