Any X99 laptops?

there were previously some x79 laptops made by companies like Sager, Clevo, and Eurocom that could hold up to 12-core Xeon processors. with DDR4 SO-DIMM laptop memory now available, does that mean that x99 laptops are now possible to produce? i havent heard of any being planned or made, so what gives? where are they?

X99 is really power consuming, 140W TDP. My last Windows laptop with a discrete GPU only consumed 15W and had a dual core i7 and R9 M270X.

Possible? Yes if you like bulky laptops. But with the super bad power consumption to performance ratio you have to be insane so build a portable device with it.

I don't think Clevo made a successor to that, so no X99.

there were x79 laptops that could hold a 3970x, which had a 150w tdp. so i think a 140w 5960x laptop would be more than possible to make.

Yes, but if there is no demand for a machine like that, no one would make a machine like that.

sager and other companies have laptops with dual desktop 980s and a desktop 6700k. there is clearly a market for it. i'm just wondering why the're not the next step up to x99.
