Hey guys,

I plan on building a gaming pc for around 800 dollars (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NZ8RLk) but when I wanted to check out on newegg, it turned out that I had to pay a total of 500 dollars of shipping :0 I live in the Netherlands, and I wanted to know if there are some webshops that have reasonable international shipping prices. if the shipping prices are under 200 dollar total it is still cheaper then the dutch site (keep the possible price increase in mind please). I was wondering if any of you know a site like that, please let me know if you do. If you have advice on my build you can also let me know

Are there any computer shops/online shops in the Netherlands you can use?

Computer parts, especially all in one box are heavy, that's why intl shipping is so expensive

In theory yes, but they add op to about 1000 euro, which is the equivalent to 1150 dollar, so I figured maybe with shipping included it could still be cheaper

oh yeah...

maybe try finding a shop that uses DHL as a shipping service, as they are usually cheaper for international shipments

You will probably have to pay the taxes anyways. For an example in Swedish webshops and stores you are forced by law to primarily show the price after taxes but in shops as amazon they don't have to since they sell internationally and the taxes differs. I always have to add the taxes which is a humongous amount (25% for most stuff I think) and then also add the shipping. So most likely you will still need to pay that amount on your regional stores, I believe.

Mindfactory is good German store. It allows PayPal and has max 30e shipping fee. For you less since its continental Europe. Plus you don't need to pay for customs when buying from another EU country.

There are also other German webstores (Alternate was one I used), but Mindfactory.de is one that is most used by Finnish buyers. Also Amazon.de (it actually has english translation now) is good place. Amazon.de has free delivery for items over €29 to selected continental Europe countries. Netherlands included.

Prices are and always will be more expensive that you see in US/CA. Even after tax is added. But shipping and customs for stuff purchased from outside EU trade zones (USA most notable) will make EU stores much more competitive.
