Hi people. I am wanting to try out this new pc build but Is there no way I can just use my current ssd Windows 8.1 to see how it works. I know I can not use 1 OS on 2 computers but is there no way I can try windows out on it to see how it works, I mean the computer build. I would use Ubuntu but don't like it much. Thanks

That should work fine, By OEM it means did you buy the pc from a manufacturer which had the os pre installed which it sounds like you didn't, therefore it'd work fine.

CPU: i5-4690K @ 4.0GHz GPU: Gigabyte Gtx 970 WindForce MOBO: Gigabyte Z97 Gaming-3 CASE: Corsair Carbide 200R PSU: Corsair RM750

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 4GBx4  MOUSE: CM Mizar KEYBOARD: Logitec G110

Right, by using an OEM license, you're basically saying that you are the system manufacturer and all issues with the OS are your problem. Microcock wont help you if you have any issue with it, and it's basically a one shot deal.

I don't understand your point? The guy is asking if he can use his SSD in another computer to try it while keeping the OS Licensed which because he does not have an OEM license it'll be fine :P

If you're wanting to try Windows on a computer, all you do is install it.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
