Upgrade and Rebuild

Hey forum  

 

im rebuilding my PC and have just torn down the old parts in order to sell some of them. I'm not really here for advice on parts but I'll go ahead and list my upgrades in case someone has a good point or somthing important to say. 

• Upgrading from two 960s in sli to a 970/390/380x/refurbished 980.
• adding 16gb of 2133 DDR4 for a total of 32gb. This will be done after I build everything else. Don't have the funds now. 
• going from the NZXT S340 to the Corsair 400Q with intentions to mod in a tempered glass window and watercool in the future. 
• Corsair AF and SP white LED fans to Noctua Redux or NFFs and NFAs with low noise adapters.
• Ditching my failed Kraken X41 for a Noctua NHD14.
• ditching rgb LEDs altogether. 
• adding in black cable extensions. 
• Keeping i5 6500, Asus Z170AR (broken second PCIe slot) and RM750. 
• Keeping my two 480gb SSDs, one 240gb SSD and two 1tb HDDs 
• Maybe an NZXT grid? 
• Possibly look at what Zen has to offer in the future (Broadwell-E and Kabilake don't interest me)

Now, the real reason why I am here is to decide on a name. Given the silence focus on the upgrades, maybe somthing with that in mind?
