I've got some ideas that are up in the air for a system I want to build for Linux Mint. I'm building this as a day-to-day computer that will not necessarily require beffy specs. CPU: Intel Pentium G4500 - Motherboard: MSI Z170A Gaming M9 - PSU: EVGA 750W Gold Power Supply - GPU: ASUS STRIX GTX 960 4GB - RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 (4x4GB) - I know some parts are overkill, the PSU and RAM in particular, but that's primarily for the upgradability factor.

It's like food for the soul, but it's a drink for the body.

If this build is simply for day-to-day use, then get an i3-6100, a B150 motherboard, 16GB's of RAM, and a EVGA 600B. It'll be more than enough and will cost significantly less.
