I currently have a Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD. It is becoming too small, so I decided it would be time to upgrade. I am planing on getting a 240GB SSD, but don't know which one to get.

Here is a list of possible SSD-s, with the prices.

Crucial BX200 - 67,90€

Kingston V300 - 69,99€

Kingston HyperX Savage - 77,70€

A-Data SP550 - 79,00€

Kingston HyperX Fury - 84,00€

SanDisk Z400s - 85,44€

Samsung 850 EVO - 92.90€

Crucial MX200 - 106€

Which one should I get. I am looking to spend as least as I can. But all of these go in my budget.

If it would be more worth it, I could also get a Kingston V300 480GB for about 125€, since it is on sale.

So what do you recommend?

The Kingston V300 is a crap SSD - it's slow due to the NAND 'bait and switch' fiasco. The Samsung 850 EVO gets my vote (and this is without personal bias).

'Fanboyism is stupid' - someone on this forum.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

BX200, V300, and Z400S are very slow. The HyperX Savage can be very fast in some situations, but gets real slow in some situations too.

The 850 Evo is fastest, with the MX200 close behind. The rest perform decently IIRC.

I think I'd go for either the SP550 or the 850 Evo.
