My Gigabyte Z87X-OC is boot looping, its very strange, i was overclocking incrementally increasing the voltage when i got to 1.3 volts its just turned off no blue screen or anything, now its just boot looping with no error codes, ive tried every switch and every clear button but its still boot loops, is it dead?

Try to clear cmos (by taking the battery out the motherboard and putting it back in)

Hope this helps :P

Lol fuck... try reseating the CPU, try 1 stick of ram. Or different ram even.

oh boy. i don't know what cpu you are talking about but 1.3 shouldn't kill anything(i expect.. well whatever doesn't matter). reset cmos. JUST DO IT! when i overclocked my pc wouldnt even post, i just reset the cmos and all good, settings back to normal. its obvious that overclocking caused this issue, resetting cmos fixes it. or then.. its DEAD.

yeap, prolly not a dead psu

try removing the battery on your motherboard as well as the 24 pin for 5 minutes, then plug both back and try

if it doesnt work then try removing the gpu and re-do the previous step, and power up without your gpu

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

will do that now aswell as reaseating cpu and new ram

i did none of this, i changed the cpu to a pentium, reaseated, applied thermal paste added different ram left the 24 pin and 8pin cpu unplugged and the battery, just pugged everything back in and its still doing it, its onlt a very short burst of power then it turns off, its not processing anything i dont think

Full specs please.

If you have an Nvidia GPU and recently updated your graphics drivers it could very well be that you are one of the many lucky ones who got into a bootloop bug. in that case i'd try to start the pc without the gpu (if your cpu has internal graphics)
