cant decide whether 8320e + r9 380, i5 4460 + cheaper graphics or if someone can suggest better build for $500-550 dollars..

i5 is going to be better for gaming

 

you'd maybe want the FX 8 core if you're going to do VM workloads or maybe stream/record game footage

 

also you could go skylake pretty easily, just live without a case

 

if you really need to get the price down, just get an i3 if your focus is gaming
