Hi everyone, I'm in need of some advice. I have a 60gb Patriot SSD in my gaming computer, and when the computer has been idle for a short time (usually 2-3 hours) the SSD is dropped for some reason. The computer no longer knows its there and needs powering down before the SSD will be recognised again. This wouldn't be a problem I'd be asking for help with if the SSD didn't have the computers OS installed on it. So my question is. Could this problem be something on the software side of things that could be fixed, or is the SSD faulty and need replacing, which if that is the case some suggestions on decent drive cloning software would be very much appreciated as I would prefer to not have to buy a new copy of windows and re-download all of my programs.

Thanks you everyone for your help.

Ricky
